The Oklahoma City Prowlers defeated the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 8-5, in Thurman Munson League action at Memorial Circle Park, with Oklahoma City first baseman Landen Jarman named player of the game. Oklahoma City reliever Mulia Kathirithamby was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Nicolas Joubert took the loss. The 5th-place Toreros have dropped 4 straight games.

Jarman had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 11th. On a 2-1 curveball from Nicolas Joubert, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Prowlers a 8-5 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Jarman.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Jarman. "And not try to do too much."
