Salazar Leads Grays to Win over Earthquakes
Georgia played host to San Francisco at the friendly confines of The Death Star.

German Salazar led Georgia to a triumph over San Francisco. The final score was 8-3. The second baseman went 3 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 2 runs and added 4 RBI. The winner was Oliver Romero, who threw 100 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 10 hits.

Salazar contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Georgia in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-0, Salazar took a cutter from Lloyd Huggins and stroked the home run to right. His 27th home run of the season allowed the Grays to leap in front, 4-3.

Salazar attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
