Multi-HR Day for Philippe as Stogies Overpower Fuego, 15-7
A 6-RBI performance from left fielder Roland Philippe, who is rated as the 37th best prospect by BNN, led the Havana Stogies to a 15-7 win over the Santa Fe Fuego. The win pushes Havana to a record of 6-5.

Philippe contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Havana in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-0, Philippe took a knuckle curve from Oliver Romero and stroked the home run to right. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Stogies to leap in front, 3-2.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Stogies manager Reynaldo Vázquez. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
