Sasquatch Bang Out 9-6 Win Versus Las Vegas
The inspired effort of Las Vegas right fielder Joe Taylor was not enough to prevent a 9-6 loss to the Seattle Sasquatch. Taylor went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. At 42-63, the Sasquatch are currently last in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

In the bottom of the 6th, catcher Scotti Scannell gave Seattle the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Sasquatch had been trailing 5-4, but the two-out double off Las Vegas pitcher Amaui Mahi'ai changed that -- and Seattle went on to win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Scannell.
