Rhinos Drop Another One

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Hawaii Islanders trumped the Rubber City Rhinos, 7-1, at The Rubber Grounds. Hawaii left fielder Declan Ringer was named player of the game for his performance. He went 4-5 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Rodrigo Garza, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 9-6. Winston Boer notched his 6th save in 10 chances.
The Islanders got a big at-bat from catcher Tokuhei Taniguchi. For the game, Taniguchi was 1-5. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 19th hit of the season gave Hawaii a 2-1 lead.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Taniguchi.
The 4th-place Rhinos have lost 5 consecutive games.
