Pioneers Bang Out 12-6 Win Versus Georgia
The Vancouver Pioneers overcame a good performance by Georgia second baseman German Salazar to knock off Georgia, 12-6, at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. Salazar was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Saiyid Mashwanis picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Pete Murphy was tagged with the loss. Vancouver is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Chris Reddy hit a 2-run triple off Pete Murphy in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Pioneers in front, 7-5. Reddy had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 2.

"Feels good to get the job done," Reddy said after the game.
