Mustangs Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Blazers
|
Fans who gathered at McNichols Stadium saw a good contest between the Mile High Mustangs and Bloomington Blazers.
Gerard Wych left his imprint on the 5-3 Mile High win against the Bloomington Blazers. Wych, who is tied for 10th in the TML with a .888 OPS, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Mile High has now won 4 games in a row.
Tsunayoshi Tanaka hit a 2-run double off John Now in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Mustangs in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Tanaka had 1 single, while going 2 for 3.
"It was a solid team effort," said Wych after the game.
