Mile High beat Hawaii at Aloha Stadium, eking out a 9-8 win. The win was due in large part to catcher Reece Wager, who earned player of the game honors. The win was credited to Doyle Sullivan in relief. His record improves to 5-0. Bernalldo Rocchi took the loss. The Mustangs raised their record to 54-49.

Miguel Olberos's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a curveball from Keith Martin for a 2-run single. It put Mile High in front, 9-8.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Mile High manager Kinnojo Shirai.
