Fukuda gets 3 RBI as Armada Squeeze Past Las Vegas
|
Fans at Sin City Stadium were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Las Vegas Aces take on the Quebec Armada.
The Quebec Armada topped the Las Vegas Aces, 7-6, in Thurman Munson League action at Sin City Stadium. The player of the game was Quebec first baseman Shunso Fukuda. Greg Rojas got the save, his 1st in 1 chances.
Quebec grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Fukuda, who is tied for 10th in the TML in RBI with 67, hit a 3-run home run. His 20th home run of the season put the Armada out in front, 6-3.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Fukuda said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
Quebec is in third place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division with a record of 50-52.
