Starting pitcher Yoshiaki Kojima pitched well enough to help the Portland Beavers beat the San Francisco Earthquakes by the score of 5-3. Portland now sits in third place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division at 48-51.

Joe Coleman hit a run-scoring triple off Gabresilassie Cherono in the top of the 12th, which put the Beavers in front, 4-3. Coleman had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 1.
