It was a fun time at Arson Arena, where the Dallas Texans and Bloomington Blazers tangled.

The Bloomington Blazers bested the Dallas Texans, 7-5, at Arson Arena. Jack Morris was named player of the game. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Victor Hernandez, the winner, improved to 6-6. He held the Texans to 3 earned runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2.

Morris contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Bloomington in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Morris took a fastball from Paul Johnston and stroked the home run to left. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Blazers to leap in front, 2-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Morris said.

The Blazers bumped their record to 57-41 with this latest triumph.
