Getting a good performance from first baseman Adam Hounsell, the Mile High Mustangs defeated the Havana Stogies, 9-6. Hounsell went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Mustangs. The Mustangs raised their record to 52-48.

Hounsell had a key at-bat for Mile High early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 24th home run of the season and gave Mile High an early 3-0 lead.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Hounsell told the Mile High News.
