Park Helps Maple Cruise to 12-3 Win
The Maple Marauders defeated the New England Colonials, 12-3, at Legends Park today. Leading the charge for Maple was left fielder Jae-hoon Park. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Umarah Abdul-Quddus earned the win for Maple. He lasted 7.1 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 8-9. The Marauders own a robust 66-32 mark.

Kojuro Ine delivered a big hit for the Marauders. The veteran first baseman belted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. The longball put Maple on top, 7-0. Overall, Ine was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ine told the Maple Daily News.
