Road Win Lifts Minneapolis to 3-2 Lead in R2
The Minneapolis Freeze moved to within one game of the Round 3 today, downing the Fort Worth Cats on the road at LaGrave Field by a score of 16-3. Freeze designated hitter Pete Eddy was named player of the game after he went 3 for 6 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The win gives the Freeze a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Triple A World Series.

Tommy Moore, who was drafted in the two round of the 2031 draft, aided the Minneapolis cause with a 2-run single in the top of the third. For the game, the second baseman went 1-5, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

Moore told a Minneapolis Today reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 31st, 2034 at The Ice Box in Minneapolis. The scheduled starters for the game are Don Myers for the Fort Worth Cats and Andrew Johnson for the the Minneapolis Freeze.
