Freeze Win to Extend Series Lead to 2-0
With starter Jorge Olivo leading the charge, the Minneapolis Freeze defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 3-2, in Game 2 of the Triple A World Series today. The right-hander threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs at The Ice Box to help Minneapolis take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Minneapolis took the lead with two out in the bottom of the first when Ernesto Argueta stroked a 2-run single. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Minneapolis. For the day, Argueta went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.

"We had a good game plan," Olivo said, "and we were able to execute it."

The next game is scheduled for Friday at LaGrave Field. Slated to start are Yaichiro Tamura for Minneapolis and Don Myers for Fort Worth.
