Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Stogies, 7-4
Havana designated hitter Garin Renzenbrink was the key at The Humidor today, being named player of the game as he powered the Stogies to victory in a critical Game 5 of the Divisional Championship. The Stogies took the 7-4 win over the Hawaii Islanders to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Havana third baseman Nobutsugu Yamaguchi helped the Stogies go up, 3-0, in the bottom of the second inning. With the game tied, Yamaguchi hit a 3-run home run off Hawaii pitcher David Guzman.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Yamaguchi said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 31st, 2034 at Aloha Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Peter Miner for the Havana Stogies and Mikey Altman for the the Hawaii Islanders.
