Raucous Aloha Stadium Crowd Propels Islanders to 5-0 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Hawaii Islanders knotted up the Divisional Championship at Aloha Stadium today, thanks in large part to starter Mikey Altman. Altman quieted the Havana Stogies, enabling Hawaii to grab the 5-0 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Havana could barely put a dent in Altman. The right-hander tossed 101 pitches over 7 innings for the Islanders, allowing only 4 hits.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Altman.

Game 3 is set to be played Friday at The Humidor in Havana. Slated to start are Ehrich Weiss for Hawaii and Diego Santiago for Havana.
