Almost There: Quebec On Cusp of R2 Triumph After 9-4 Win
The Quebec Armada moved to within one game of the League Pennant today, downing the visiting Oklahoma City Prowlers at Lucky 7 Ballpark by a score of 9-4. Armada first baseman Shunso Fukuda was named player of the game after he was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The win gives the Armada a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Divisional Championship.

The fans who came in support of the Armada were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Lucky 7 Ballpark.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Fukuda said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 5 is scheduled for tomorrow at Lucky 7 Ballpark in Quebec City. The scheduled starters for the game are Ryan Goldberg for Oklahoma City and Luis Mendez for Quebec.
