Marcial, Rock River Start Double A League Championship Strong with Home Win
The Rock River Rats started the Double A League Championship in style today, downing the visiting Wichita Wolverines at The Rat Hole by a score of 4-2 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Rats catcher Nelson Marcial was named player of the game after he was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs.

Terry Richardson chipped in for Rock River with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

Marcial told a Rock River Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
