The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements at Classified Field enjoyed themselves.

The Rosewell Tribbles got a stellar effort from pitcher Alfredo Arenas, helping Rosewell score a 2-1 win over the visiting Sedona Sabercats. The last-place Sabercats have dropped 4 straight games.

Jose Garcia had a big run-scoring single for the Tribbles in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Rosewell leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Mark Sparling and stroked the single to center. It was his 39th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Tribbles ahead, 2-0.

Garcia told a Rosewell Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
