The Lumber Kings topped the The Stinging Larvae, 8-2, with youngster Silas Fuhs playing a key role. Fuhs was 2-4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Kings in the win. The Kings bumped their record to 31-31 with this latest triumph.

The Kings got a big at-bat from shortstop Juan Palomarez. For the game, Palomarez went 1-4. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 24th hit of the season gave Lumber a 2-1 lead.
