Tribbles Continue Skid Thanks to Dimon, Bombers
|
Benefiting from Greg Dimon's productive game, the Panana City Bombers downed the Rosewell Tribbles, 4-2. Dimon was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Bombers. A.J. Porter was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. Jalen DePass converted his 8th save in 10 tries.
Early in the game, Dimon had a 3-run home run for Panana City. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Bombers on top, 4-1.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Panana City manager Gustavo Ruíz. "It's usually not just one thing."
The slumping Tribbles have lost 11 straight.
