Nutcrackers Drop Totems with Late Score
Victoria got a terrific performance from right fielder T.J. Leiby, but it wasn't enough to beat the Normal Nutcrackers. Normal won the The Nutcracker Suite contest, 5-4. Leiby was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. The Nutcrackers own a robust 29-16 mark.

Israel Gutierrez was the walk-off hero for Normal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nutcrackers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Gutierrez told the Normal Daily.
