A 4-RBI performance from center fielder Art Barker, who is tied for 9th in the CFL in hits with 55, led the Wichita Storm to a 6-4 win over the The Stinging Larvae. Joel Stapleton was credited with the save for Wichita, his 8th of the season. The Storm have an impressive 32-11 record.

Barker had a key at-bat for Wichita early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and gave Wichita an early 4-0 lead.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Barker.
