The The Stinging Larvae topped the Wichita Storm, 11-1, in Cecil Fielder League action at The Storm Center. The player of the game was The Stinging first baseman Jerry LeGore. Danny Ramon earned the win to go to 5-3. He allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.

LeGore had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Larvae went on to win.

"I felt we were ready to go," said The Stinging manager Antonio Alejos. "Our pregame was pretty good."
