Multi-HR Game for van Erp in 9-5 Win
Yuma first baseman Elwiin van Erp made his presence felt in the 9-5 Varmits triumph over the Panana City Bombers. van Erp went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. With the win, the Varmits improved to 22-18.

Manuel Santiago, who is tied for 7th in the CFL with a .740 slugging percentage, aided the Yuma cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," van Erp told the Yuma Herald.
