Pirates Turn Back Rosewell, 2-1

The Rosewell Tribbles went down to defeat to Shinsuke Suzuki and his Paradise Island teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Pirates. Suzuki picked up the win for Paradise Island, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. Domingo Rueda sewed up the save, his 5th.
The Pirates got a big at-bat from left fielder Andrew Taylor. For the game, Taylor was 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Paradise Island a 2-1 lead.
In postgame comments to the Paradise Island Observer, Taylor said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
The win puts the Pirates at 14-25, while the Tribbles drop to 19-20.
