The Nutcrackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Ryosaku Nishimura. For the game, Nishimura went 1 for 3 with a walk. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 20th hit of the season gave Normal a 1-0 lead.
