The St. Paul Grognards had no problem beating the Paradise Island Pirates, 15-2, at The Thunderdome. Jesus Enciso led the way. He went 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 times and driving in 3 for St. Paul. Even with the win, the Grognards have a dismal 12-23 record.

Jamie Ballentine hit a 2-run double off Iwane Kanda in the bottom of the first, which put the Grognards in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Ballentine had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
