Barker belts 2 home runs, Storm Move to 26-9
|
The Wichita Storm topped the Rosewell Tribbles by the score of 6-0, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Art Barker. Barker hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Storm on the day. Wichita now has a 6-game win streak.
Barker had a big at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Storm went on to win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Barker told the Wichita Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
