Multi-HR Game for Donohue in 7-4 Win
The first-place Wichita Storm welcomed St. Paul to The Storm Center.

The Wichita Storm topped the St. Paul Grognards by the score of 7-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Eric Donohue. Donohue was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Storm on the day. Yutaka Sasaki picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Tony Aaron was tagged with the loss. Joel Stapleton earned the save, his 5th, for the Storm.

Donohue had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 fastball from Tony Aaron, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Storm a 7-4 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Donohue.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Wichita manager Cliff Moon.

The Storm have an impressive 23-9 record.
