Larvae Win in Glorious Fashion
Well, that's how to end a game in style.

The The Stinging Larvae had to overcome a big game from Panana City first baseman Alex Garza to leave The Queen with a 9-8 victory. Garza was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The Stinging reliever Ricky Caraballo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. A.J. Schneider took the loss.

The Larvae got a big at-bat from catcher Rich Groves. For the game, Groves went 4 for 7 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the 12th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 12th hit of the season gave The Stinging a 9-8 lead.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Groves said.

Even with the win, the Larvae have a dismal 8-25 record.
