Bombers Lose, 5-2, at The Queen
|
It was a fun time at The Queen, where the Panana City Bombers and The Stinging Larvae tangled.
The The Stinging Larvae topped the Panana City Bombers, 5-2, in Cecil Fielder League action at The Queen. The player of the game was The Stinging pitcher Danny Ramon. Ramon, now 3-3, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 10 hits, while striking out 11, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Christian Barnes earned the save, his 3rd, for the Larvae.
Raul Duenaz aided the The Stinging cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Nice to get this one," said Duenaz. "Wins have been hard to come by."
Even with the win, the Larvae have a dismal 7-25 record.
