A nice crowd turned out to see the Wichita Storm and Normal Nutcrackers clash at The Nutcracker Suite.

Wichita catcher Yuki Ryu played a vital role in his team's 9-4 triumph over Normal. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Wichita. Ben Jeffcoat got credit for the save for Wichita. It was his 1st of the year.

Ryu had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Storm went on to win.

"We maximized our offense today," said Wichita skipper Cliff Moon. "That makes everyone's life easier."

The Storm have an impressive 22-9 record.
