Diaz, The Stinging Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
The The Stinging Larvae eked out a 2-1 win versus the Victoria Totems at The Queen. Nobody did more than pitcher Fernando Diaz, who captured player of the game honors. Even with the win, the Larvae have a dismal 4-20 record.

Diaz was effective against the Totems, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Victoria to just no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
