Victoria third baseman Jared Howard had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the St. Paul Grognards, 4-2. Victoria reliever Lance Rose picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Cruz Miguel shouldered the loss. Colin Hoffer earned the save, his 3rd.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Howard hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Totems into the lead, 3-2.

"Enjoyed this one," Howard told the Victoria Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The 5th-place Grognards have lost 4 straight games.
