Multi-HR Game for Nowell in 8-5 Win
The Yuma Varmits knocked off the Sedona Sabercats, 8-5, at The Range. William Nowell, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Yuma won. The left fielder went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Pete Golding picked up the save for Yuma, his 3rd of the year. With the loss, Sedona drops to 7-4.

Dane Maibach, who is rated as the 60th best prospect by BNN, chipped in for Yuma with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
