Bel Air Takes Series Lead in Low-Scoring Affair
The Bel Air Princes powered past the hometown Atlantic City Kings, 3-2, in the opener of the Single A League Championship at The Royal Colosseum today. Bel Air starting pitcher Luis Silva threw 5 innings allowing 2 runs, to lead the charge. The Princes now lead the series 1-0.

In the top of the 6th, right fielder Arvid van der Reijden gave Bel Air the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Princes had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out double off Atlantic City pitcher Travis Panhorst changed that -- and Bel Air went on to win.

"We put together a nice win," van der Reijden said.

Game 2 is scheduled for tomorrow at The Royal Colosseum. Slated to start are Sergio Guerrero for the Bel Air Princes and Alberto García for the the Atlantic City Kings.
