Gamble Belts Bunch of Base Hits
|
Mike Gamble was the King of Swing today at The Thunderdome today in the 11-1 Wichita Storm win over the St. Paul Grognards. The Wichita right fielder stepped into the batter's box 5 times against the St. Paul and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him.
"Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either."
Mike Gamble singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jon Simmons in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.ink]
