Behind a solid performance from second baseman Scott Herrin, the Tunica Diamonds defeated the Caribbean Commies, 6-5. Herrin went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk for the Diamonds. Tunica has now won 4 games in a row.

Lance Phillips was the walk-off hero for Tunica. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Diamonds designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Phillips said.
