Rockville right fielder Oscar Alcala made his presence felt in the 7-3 Rangers triumph over the Santa Barbara Suenos. Alcala went 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Mike Muller picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Luis Castillo was tagged with the loss. Rockville has now won 9 in a row.

Alcala had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the seventh. On a 3-1 fastball from Luis Castillo, he banged a bases-clearing triple to right-center, giving the Rangers a 6-3 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Alcala.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Alcala said.
