Tony Uribe made an impact in the 6-4 Scottsdale win over Tunica. Uribe went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Scottsdale reliever Timmo Brown picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Vic Horn absorbed the loss. Steve Higgins converted his 19th save in 21 tries.

Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out and a runner on 2nd, the batter, Danny Collado, hit a single. It helped Scottsdale seize the win.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Collado said after the game.

With the win, the Scorpions have a record of 27-34.
