Commies Come Back Late to Clip Rangers
Caribbean Commies starter Alex Garrastazu was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Rockville Rangers, 3-2. Garrastazu got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 7 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Garrastazu allowed 2 earned runs. Bob Chamberlain finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Ivan Carreon drove in one run for Caribbean. The 20-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Blake Orlando. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Garrastazu.
