The Augusta Rail Riders and Scottsdale Scorpions brought some excitement to Murderer's Row.

The Scottsdale Scorpions topped the Augusta Rail Riders, 6-0, in Prince Fielder League action at Murderer's Row. The player of the game was Scottsdale pitcher John Gayden. Tony Colunga was credited with the save for Scottsdale, his 1st of the season.

The Scorpions got a big at-bat from catcher Manuel Llanes. For the game, Llanes was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Scottsdale a 2-0 lead.

Gayden told a Scottsdale Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

With the win, the Scorpions have a record of 23-29.
