The El Paso Bomberos beat the Augusta Rail Riders, 11-5, at The Back Draft. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Chris Huffman, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winner was Mike Sapienza, who threw 77 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with no runs on 3 hits. Danny Minor earned the save, his 3rd, for the Bomberos.

Chris Raney, who is tied for 10th in the PFL in extra base hits with 22, aided the El Paso cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Raney told the El Paso Gazette.
