Leonard Polke batted in 3 runs to lead El Paso to a win over Augusta. The final score was 7-6. Polke chipped in with 1 single and 1 home run. Jaime Tait earned the save for El Paso, his 11th of the year. The Bomberos improved to 23-24.

Polke had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 slider from Miguel Sanchez, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bomberos a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Polke.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Polke, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
