The Long Beach KO knocked off the Caribbean Commies, 14-6, at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. Matt Hartsell, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Long Beach won. The left fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Long Beach is now 30-18, 6 games up in the Prince Fielder League Tony Fernandez Division.

Jesus Vazquez, who leads the PFL in bases on balls with 33, aided the Long Beach cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Long Beach manager Lorenzo Rodríguez.
