Rangers Solve Diamonds, 6-5
|
Despite a great performance by Tunica right fielder David Decker, the Rockville Rangers defeated the Diamonds by the score of 6-5 at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium. Decker went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Rangers bumped their record to 25-24 with this latest triumph.
Antonio Santos chipped in for Rockville with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 run batted in.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Rockville manager Anthony Weinstein.
