The Long Beach KO topped the Tunica Diamonds by the score of 13-9, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Mike Matheny. Matheny was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the KO. Reliever Nate Miller picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Vic Horn took the loss.
