Scorpions Beat Visiting Rangers, 5-2

It was a good time at Scottsdale Stadium, where fans came to watch the Rockville Rangers and Scottsdale Scorpions get after it.
The Scottsdale Scorpions defeated the Rockville Rangers, 5-2, at Scottsdale Stadium. Scottsdale designated hitter Rob Bjorndahl was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Scottsdale goes to 16-25, Rockville to 22-19.
Bjorndahl contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Scottsdale in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-0, Bjorndahl took a cutter from Juan Guzman and stroked the home run to left. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Scorpions to leap in front, 4-2.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Bjorndahl.
